BRITTANY HAALAND
VOLUNTEER & SPECIAL EVENTS COORDINATOR

Hey there! My name is Brittany, and I am so happy your heart led you here! I am a mother of three with a desire to help others and lead with compassion; I am hopeful that my intentional teaching nurtures my children to grow and do the same. I recently graduated from Mayville State University with my BA in Early Childhood Education and plan to obtain my Master’s in counseling in the near future. Through my volunteer experiences at RACC and my profession as a childcare center director, I acquired a passion for helping women and children cohesively. There is so much beauty in vulnerability, sharing your story, and finding strength within! Why I am joining the Styled with Strength Team: Others have described me as a ball of sunshine, and I believe my light comes from my choice to face the sun whenever any challenges come my way, partly because of my experiences with addiction and domestic violence. I have learned there is always life and light on the other side of tragedy, accompanied by a village of people willing to fight alongside you. You are never alone, and I am eager to be a part of that village for you! I have an indescribable amount of excitement in joining the Styled with Strength team as I have felt a pull towards this organization since the first blog post was published! While some go to the gym or the movies to fill their cups, volunteering and helping make a positive impact in others’ lives fills mine. As the Special Events and Volunteer Coordinator, I hope to create big dreamers and build a large community to give women and their families the most powerful amount of support needed to transform into the person they aspire to be!

RACHEL STELLWAG
INTAKE & PEER SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Hi, I'm Rachel! My pronouns are she/her. I'm a 33 year old single mom to a wonderful 9 year old boy. I'm originally from the Twin Cities and moved to the F/M area in 2008 to go to college at MSUM for business and psychology. I moved back to the cities in 2013 when I had my son and have been back in West Fargo since 2015. I started with the company 17 years ago when I was 16 as a seasonal cashier and have moved my way up the chain to a retail manager for Target. On my days off you'll normally see me catching the rays while I'm reading on my deck when it's nice out or outside enjoying the weather with my son. Otherwise I'm normally reading on my couch or watching Netflix. Why I'm Joining the Styled with Strength Team I’m excited to begin this new adventure as a Peer Support Specialist. I’ve had to overcome many challenges in life with the most experience being in domestic violence, mental illness, self-harm, and addiction. The thing I’m most proud of is being alcohol free since January 11th, 2020. It has been one of the hardest things I’ve overcome yet the most rewarding and beneficial experience I’ve ever had. Without my recovery my life would have fallen apart. I love psychology and learning about why we do what we do. I have a passion for human beings and truly believe that we go through trials in life in order to help us learn and grow. The road out of darkness and back to the light can be long and windy but it can be done by anyone and everyone. One of the best feelings is when your heart is filled with light and love and coming out of that deep dark endless hole. I’m excited to work with you and help you find ways to grow into a better human being and help you achieve your dreams and goals!

JODI JORDHEIM
FOUNDER & CHIEF CHATTERBOX

Oh hi! I'm so glad you're here and I hope that you are ready to dream again! My favorite question to ask (literally anyone is: "Do you know what you were built to do?" Big huh? I think we spend so much of our lives trying to navigate and please those around us, or believing the words or thoughts that others have about us, we actually forget and don't dream about what we feel called to do. I hope that through our time together we can open the doors and realize just how big and wide open the road ahead is for you. Why I believe in Styled with Strength: Despite being confident and a high achiever with the will power of what seems like hulk sometimes, I found myself in a situation I never would have expected. As a survivor of domestic violence and a child of addiction and disfunction- I am determined to create a different outcome. I think that growing and changing is something we should all feel safe to do. I hope that Styled with Strength provides a missing link to the Fargo/Moorhead Community by bringing all of the worlds together- under one mission. Helping protect women from abuse- and push and lean on one another to win collectively. I can't wait to meet you.
