About the Author: 
Bridget Meranda is a licensed clinical social worker and registered play therapist who works with children and families who have experienced difficulty with mental health and traumatic events. She is also a mother and parent of a child who has experienced trauma. Her experience of being a mental health professional and also parent of a child who has experienced trauma has increased her desire to provide books that can help children prevent and heal from traumatic events. She also wants to provide additional resources to help children learn, grow and gain social/emotional developmental skills.
